Getting to Know CMP
The 14th Annual Getting to Know CMP Workshop
This one-week Getting to Know Connected Mathematics (CMP) workshop will take place on June 15–19, 2009, on the campus of Michigan State University. In this workshop, teachers will work with two presenters at a specific grade level (6, 7 or 8), and study, in depth, four or five units per grade. The development of mathematics in the problems, investigations, and units and pedagogical underpinnings of the curriculum are the main focus for the week. However, during the week, assessment and grading, teaching strategies, management and related issues will be discussed. Enrollment is limited. Availability for the conference is on a first-come bases.
