CMP Users' Conference
The two-day Users' Conference is held in February. It is intended for current users of the CMP curriculum- teachers, leaders, administrators and coaches. The goal is to engage participants in discussing more effective ways to develop deeper understanding and reasoning for all students. The sessions cover a variety of topics for teachers, teacher leaders, and administrators, such as effective questioning and listening techniques, grading and assessment, pacing, effective summaries and mathematical reflections, working with special need and ELL students, writing in the CMP classroom, CMP and state frameworks, working with parents, etc. There is also a strand for administrators and leaders that include topics on coaching, state frameworks and tests, professional development, collaborative groups, etc.
Availability for a conference is on a first come first serve basis. The conference is held at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center at Michigan State University and is limited to 350 participants.

You may pay online via credit card, OR download a registration form and mail the completed form and check to CMP. Keep in mind that this is a limited enrollment event and that all applications will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis. Conference dates are subject to change prior to registration beginning. Registration begins in October. Refer back to this site for application forms and tentative agenda.
