The Orange Juice Problem
9 transparencies, including student work, appropriate for an introductory presentation to teachers or coordinators. This is Investigation 3.1 in Comparing and Scaling, CMP1 2004. The problem was revised for CMP2 and is now Investigation 2.1, Comparing and Scaling, CMP2 2006. The essential features of the problem are the same as in the CMP1 version, but some of the ratios have been changed. The student work shown relates to the CMP1 2004 edition.
